Whales in Colombia

After swimming more than 8,000 km coming from the south pole, we can count on the presence and the great magnitude of the Humpback Whales. More than 400 whales come to our Colombian Pacific coast, tempted by its warm waters with intentions of mating and giving birth to their young, allowing us to appreciate their songs, jumps, wings and jets of water.

With prudence we can get a little closer and appreciate more closely the beauty of how a mother prepares her pups by teaching them how to breathe, feeding them and preparing them to live by themselves. On the other hand, the males take advantage of these warm waters to woo the females and be able to mate allowing us to witness a magnificent creation of nature.

This is what we live in Nuquí, Bahía Solano, Ladrilleros every year, without fail, during the month of July they arrive at our peaceful coasts, and likewise the tourists who want to participate in this experience arrive. Tears, shouts, applause and nervous laughter are just some of the reactions that people have when they experience this experience, the words do not reach when describing the thousand emotions generated by being exposed to a 40-tonne animal the size of a tractomula that shows us the "human", the nobility and how friendly they can be. A unique experience, it is here that we can see the power of nature and how beautiful it is.
