What to expect
Day 1. Jungle night
Arrival in Riohacha 11:30 am – Transfer Almirante Padilla Riohacha International Airport (RCH) to the Mayapo beaches - typical lunch on the Mayapo beaches – beach afternoon in Mayapo – transfer to the Wayuu Pirruwaitamana indigenous community – lodging facility Indigenous community– rancheria night – traditional dance of the Yogna – talk about Wayuu customs around a bonfire - typical Wayuu dinner, culinary experience of cultural exchange – Overnight stay in a typical Wayuu ranch, Pirruwaitamana community.
Day 2. Journey through the desert
Typical Wayuu breakfast (food exchange, participation in the preparation) – chat with the Putchipü and rite of immersion in the desert – typical Wayuu artisan sample - talk about women and weaving – community farewell ritual - Visit Manaure salt mines – transfer to Uribia Indigenous capital of Colombia - tour of the central square (food stores) – Transfer to Cabo de la Vela (tour through the Ahuyama desert) – arrival and installation Ranchería Utta – lunch Utta ranch - visit Ojo de agua beach sacred Wayuu site - sunset at the Lighthouse – return to the ranch to Utta-traditional Cape fisherman dinner, talk about his experiences at sea & ndash; night of stars in ranchería Utta – overnight in Ranchería Utta.
Day 3. Jepira, contact with the gods
Breakfast at Ranchería Utta – visit to the sacred Wayuu site of rainbow beach talk Wayuu guide – visit to the Wayuu sacred site of the sugar pylon (Jepira) chat with the Wayuu guide – swim on the beaches of pilón de azúcar - transfer to the hamlet of cabo de la vela - lunch on the beach - afternoon at the beach in cabo de la vela – transfer to Ranchería Utta rest time – Utta ranch dinner – overnight in Ranchería Utta.
Day 4. The dance of the Yogna
